3 ChairsやThe Rotating Assemblyのメンバーとしても知られる重鎮デトロイト・ハウス・プロデューサー、Rick Wilhiteが手掛けているデトロイトのレコードショップ'Vibes'のコンピとして2010年にリリースされた『Vibes New & Rare Music』。その続編となる『Vibes 2』が[Rush Hour]から2枚組で登場。デトロイトとシカゴの新旧世代を中心としつつ、Josh MilanやJovonnまでが名を列ねたPart 1に続く第2弾LPとなるのが今作。ここでは、MoodymannやGerald Mitchell(UR/Los Hermanos/Galaxy 2 Galaxy)を筆頭に、Raybone Jones、Orlando Voorn、K-Alexi、DJ Stinglayなどの面々が集結。今回も聴き逃せない充実のデトロイト・ハウス集に仕上がっています！！
