Rainbow Disco Club のレーベル・ライン'Beyond Space And Time'から放たれる最新作は、Wata IgarashiとKuniyukiによるライブ・プロジェクト、The Melting Hoursによる初の音源集だ。テクノ史に残る実績を現在進行形で刻み続けているWata Igarashi、長きに渡り札幌の至宝として尊敬を集めてきたKuniyuki。兼ねてよりリスペクトを送り合ってきた両名がDraaimolen Festival 2025への出演を契機に邂逅し、始動したプロジェクトがThe Melting Hoursである。
快晴の元で新緑とリスナーに囲まれ音を紡いでいった、去る2026年のRainbow Disco Clubを思い出す。まるで、生き物のようなThe Melting Hoursによるセッションに導かれ、脈動するエネルギーがフロアに伝播していたようだった。この作品から感じられる有機的な息遣いは、まさにそんな情景を思い起こすものであると同時に...このプロジェクトが宿すその場/その時限りの唯一無二性と、それ故に広がっていく限りない可能性をも感じさせてくれる。

2017年末のPrince - Sticky Like Glue、2018年末のDonny Hathaway - I Love You More Than You'll Ever Knowに続いて、久しぶりにTimmy RegisfordとJoe Claussellによるハウス・リミックスが登場。今回は、Nina Simoneによる1966年リリースの"Blackbird"。まずTimmy Regisfordによるハウス・リミックスをA-1に収録し、A-2とB面ではそのリミックスをさらにJoe Claussellが料理。パーカッシヴなビートやオルガン・ソロを用いながらShelter仕様の漆黒グルーヴを展開していくA-1はもちろんのこと、パーカッションやオルガンを空間的に際立てたA-2とソリッドでトリッピーなバージョンに仕立てたB面も圧巻の仕上がりとなっています。今までの2枚同様、あるいはそれ以上といえそうな強力な内容が揃った大推薦盤です！(Morihiro) 【2026年9月下旬入荷予定】

Still hot on the heels of compiling the first volume of the Italian Dancefloor Outsiders, and moved by the urge to explore new musical landscapes and discover sounds produced in subsequent years, we decided to continue our quest of tracking an alternative map of what was happen- ing in the Italian electronic music scene. This second volume takes inspiration from the concept of “Mezzanotte Mezzogiorno” (literally “from Midnight to Midday”), a term first used for a now legendary party held in 1992 at Club Imperi- ale in Tirrenia, Tuscany. The owner of the club, Roberto Pannocchia, was eager to attract a different kind of audience to his venue and so decided to extend the closing time until midday, well beyond the Italian law limits. But as Imperiale was a members club, he was allowed to do it, and he already knew that this act would forever shape the Italian club scene. "Mezzanotte Mezzogiorno" was then used to describe long dancing marathons that lasted for the whole weekend, spread across clubs, after-parties and more off-the-grid open air venues but, most of all, became the symbol of an era. The music ranged from slow, pitched-down landscapes to epic techno progressions, filling both feverishly packed big rooms and colourful chillout zones. A parabola of musical move- ments related to specific genres was born, reaching its peak and then fading towards the end of the millenium. 【2026年9月後半入荷予定】

Originally released in 1993 on Rising High Records, Voices Of The Rainforest is one of the most distinctive and underrated cuts from the early UK trance and ambient techno continuum.
The New London School Of Electronics was the collaboration of Caspar Pound and Laurence Elliott-Potter, two key figures around the Rising High orbit. Together, they created a track that sits in a strange and beautiful space between ambient techno, acid, early trance and rave.
Over more than ten minutes, Voices Of The Rainforest unfolds through rolling tribal percussion, deep hypnotic rhythms, spacious electronic textures and melancholic melodies. Constantly shifting between atmospheric passages and driving trance elements, it creates a hypnotic journey that feels both deeply immersive and unmistakably dancefloor-focused.
It is this balance that makes the record so special, connecting the psychedelic and ambient side of early-90s electronic music with the emerging trance and techno sounds coming from the UK and Germany at the time.
The original 12" also featured the extended Blackout Mix, recorded live at Erotica in Paris, pushing the hypnotic atmosphere even further. 【2026年9月後半入荷予定】

USウェストコーストクラブ/レイヴシーンの立役者として大いなる貢献を果たしたレーベル[Exist Dance]の名作をSound Metaphorsが復刻するシリーズの第7弾となる今作は、当レーベルの主宰者Tom Chasteen & Michael KandelのタッグによるTranquility Bassが1991年に放った初期作にして彼らのアナザー・クラシック、"They Came In Peace"の再発盤。この作品では、90BPMのドラミング、渋いウッド・ベース、そこに牧歌的でピースフルなサイケデリア・フィーリングを漂わせながらチルアウトでジャジーなダウンテンポ・ブレイクビーツを展開。オープニングの時間帯や晴れた屋外のようなロケーションにフィットする、飽きの来ないバレアリック路線のナイス・トラックです。よりダビーな'Lunar Dub'、Dick Hymanネタなどを配したファンキー・ブレイクビーツ路線の"Lucifaze"もお忘れなく。当シリーズの前作で再発された"Cantamilla"と同様、こちらも昔よくプレイしていた思い入れのある1枚だけに、この盤もちゃんと再発してくれたSound Metaphorsクルーに拍手を送りたいところです。大推薦です！(Morihiro) 【2026年9月後半入荷予定】

札幌の才人Kuniyuki Takahashiが2007年に[Mule Musiq]からCDオンリーでリリースしていた実質的な1stアルバム(2006年の『We All Together』はシングルやリミックス音源を集めたもの)、『All These Things』が10年以上の時を経てついに初アナログ化されました。オーガニックな生演奏を主軸に据えながらシンガーもフィーチャーしてジャズ/フュージョン路線のディープ・ハウス〜ダウンテンポを繰り広げていった、今でも何ら色褪せることのない豊かで浸透性の高い一枚に仕上がっています。Joe ClaussellやTheo Parrishがリミックスした表題曲"All These Things"、Henrik SchwarzやYoshihiro Tsukaharaとの"The Session"、Alex From TokyoやEBZとの"Flying Music"はじめ、改めて全曲素晴らしいですね。大推薦盤！(Morihiro)

Force Of Natureの片割れとしてもおなじみのKZAによる2009年アルバムが2LPとなって昨年リイシューされていたので遅ればせながらご紹介。当時アナログの方は3枚の12インチに分かれてリリースされていましたが、今回はそれらが全曲収められたCDアルバムを2LPで再発した形となっています。コズミック/バレアリック路線のマニアックな音源を巧みに用いながらモダン・ブギー/ニュー・ディスコへと昇華していった、今でも即戦力として活躍してくれるだろうトラックがずらり。改めてその質と完成度の高さに脱帽ですね。おすすめ盤！！
