Temu’s debut on Star Creature comes after a banging run sister label Tugboat Editions dropping a series of three 7”s over the last decade that are no scarce at the shops, heavy in the crates, and pricey on the ‘scogs. This Giant 12” EP collects the batch of covers on the heavier format for those that may have missed out. The A Side features his latest G’d Up, Deep Down flip over “Is It All Over My Face?” plus a poplocker’s paradise cover of Kraftwerk’s “We Are The Robots” rounded out with a stankface rendition of Herbie Hancock’s “Ready or Not”. The B Side let’s Temu really show off his pipes on his Tear For Fears Cover, lock back into Talkbox Groove covering the Jones Girls in Egypt before landing back in Italy with Kano on track 3. A Solid 12” overall for funk fans of all varieties.
