今年一月にMelbourne Electronic Sound Studioを訪問、所蔵されている各種のヴィンテージなドラムマシンを録音、UKに持ち帰って編集と加工を経たものが本作。テンポも速いのから遅いのまで様々に、インダストリアル、ダブ、ポスト・パンク、プロト・テクノを横断したリズムのミニマルな探究。シンプルにして表情豊かで全く飽きさせない、クラブミュージックから生まれたハイスペックな音響芸術。大推薦です。(Dr. Nishimura)
